Facebook Not Showing Birthday Notifications

If Facebook is not showing birthday notifications—either for your friends’ birthdays or for others to see yours—it’s usually due to notification settings being turned off. Adjusting these settings can restore your birthday reminders.
Start by opening the Facebook app and tapping the menu icon in the top-right corner. Then tap the gear-shaped “Settings” icon to open your settings menu. Scroll down to the “Preferences” section and select “Notifications.”
In the Notifications menu, find and tap “Birthdays.” Here, you’ll see options for different notification types. If the main toggle for birthday notifications is off, turn it on. You can also choose which types of notifications you want—push notifications, email alerts, or SMS reminders—by enabling their respective toggles.
Once enabled, Facebook will start showing birthday reminders again on your notifications tab and, if chosen, via email or SMS.
