A short case study video from the Flood Innovation Centre, detailing funded support for M.B Roche Civil Engineering in order for them to develop new skills in sustainable drainage solutions.
The Flood Innovation Centre worked with Daniel Roche of M.B. Roche Civil Engineering, following his attendance at a free workshop event. Together they identified sustainable drainage solutions as an area that Roche wished to develop. In partnership with the University of Hull, the Flood Innovation Centre developed a tailor-made support package, which enable Roche to learn on the job how to install and monitor sustainable drainage solutions, which can help new and retrofitted building projects improve flood resilience.
The Flood Innovation Centre works with SMEs in the Humber Region and beyond, to help them develop new products and services in flood resilience, or to help understand and improve the flood risk of their business property.
