Video on how to insert a floor temperature sensor on a wire into a 10 mm corrugated tube from a set with a DEVI, VERIA heating mat.
Very often, temperature sensors on a wire from different manufacturers of heating systems, which are supplied with their thermostats, have a large-diameter plastic tip. And in order to insert a temperature sensor into a 10 mm corrugated tube with an internal diameter of 6.7 mm, you need to grind down the plastic on the sensor, this will not affect the measurement of the floor temperature, but will allow you to freely insert such a temperature sensor along the corrugated tube.
It also often happens when a DEVI heating mat is laid, and a thermostat is installed from a series of electrical fittings of a certain manufacturer and the floor sensor can no longer be inserted into the corrugated tube from the DEVI mat, then the easiest way to insert and then use the original sensor from the kit is to grind it in diameter.
