Crossovers for Car Audio - Tune on HEAD UNIT or AMPLIFIER? Or combination?
When we build a custom car audio system we need to use crossovers to limit the frequency response sent to each type of speaker, whether it is a subwoofer, mid range, or tweeter. But should we use the crossover settings and tune them on our head unit, or our amplifier, or both? What if we have a DSP? This is a question I get often so I wanted to make a video to help you guys out and teach you some basics on speaker crossover terminology.
