A 9-1-1 call in the middle of the night launched a massive police response - after the sheriff of one of the largest counties in the state of Washington reports a Black man in his neighborhood is threatening to kill him.
That Black man ended up being a young newspaper carrier, on the delivery route he drives every single night. He felt he would be killed when dozens of police officers surrounded him. He didn’t have a gun or a knife, just his newspapers.
