We'll see how to create dependent drop-down lists in Excel.

Drop-down lists are considered dependent when the selection in the first list affects the available options in the second list.

This gives us greater control over the user's choices, as there will always be consistency in the entered data.

We'll achieve this by assigning names and using the INDIRECT function. The INDIRECT function will retrieve the range of cells whose name matches the value selected in the first drop-down list.

If we want to add new data to the drop-down lists, we must be careful to maintain the correct references in each of the named ranges. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
