This tutorial describes a method to view Java content (ActiveX and Silverlight too) within Chrome 45 (and greater) after Google removed the ability to enable NPAPI plugins. It also explains other options to view Java content. Without Java enabled in Chrome, you will see "This plugin is not supported" instead of the Java content.
