Step 1: What programs/software do you need?
Step 2: Open up Sony Vegas.
Step 3: Background
Step 4: Other objects, blurring.
Step 5: Trees using Paint.NET
Step 6: Moving clouds
Step 7: Adding the characters, alignment
Step 8: Mid-Rendering
This is the legit way to animate on Vegas. It is possible to use the Chroma Keyer method (green/blue screen), but it has its errors and looks horrible if not done right. If you can master both ways, it makes your animating a lot easier, however. In this video, I only demonstrate the *most basic* animation method.
