Vision impaired photographer?
What happens when a photographer loses the use of his/her vision? On a 22 day trip last fall, my vision failed. I would say that the last five or six days of the trip I noticed difficulty focusing and spotting wildlife. It turned out that one eye had failed and the other was straining to see. Upon returning home I saw an eye specialist and as a consequence had surgery to try to bring back the sight. Two months later and still no sight, thus partially sighted.
I went out this morning (New Years Day 2024) to attempt a return to my passion. Some success as you will see. The moral of this experience, is to not give up!
