Basics & Beyond 2023 UK Production BTS
🙏Was responsible for live sound, audio+video recording and photography.
In the main darbar we had
-Yamaha DM3 Digital Mixer with 2 DXR 12" speakers FOH and 2 Yamaha HS5 monitors, bose mic as a spare monitor for me and tabia, at one point we had 10 mics for the Kirtan. It went very well finally have the features in the EQ, Fx and monitoring we need🙏
-4 mirrorless cameras (gh5 and s5ii) into a 4K brosdcasting machine that recorded programme + shabad overlay.
-Audio recording - Multritrack out the mixer into the mac, usb recording main LR out, aux out into zoom f8 mixed with h2n atmospheric recorder which saved the day when we lost power and therefore lost all recording for that session apart from the battery powered h2n!
Lecture theatre also has 2 Yamaha DXR 12" with an analogue Yamaha mixer which also went down a treat! We filmed the lectures with 3 mirrorless cameras (gh5 and s5ii)
Photographs taken on canon 70d and 5dii on 28-70mm and 70-200mm
This was an intense production - live mixing was made easy with the new amazing DM3 and post production will be a doddle with most the work already done.
Lots of lessons learned. Time to reflect and make changes. 🙏
