No Paper/Cassette Incorrectly Inserted! Error. Tried everything, added tape to bottom of tray. CP900

This is my Selphy CP900. It would return an error: No Paper or Cassette Incorrectly Inserted
After alot of testing, here is what I tried:
1) take out the paper and make sure the paper tray was filled properly. CHECK!
2) Insert the paper tray correctly. CHECK!
3) Reset the printer. CHECK!
4) Observe the error when printing. I noticed the paper was not travelling from the tray into the printer. CHECK!
5) disassembled the printer and reassembled looking for any broken loose parts. CHECK!
At the end of it, I noticed the paper wasn't moving into the printer. I finally added some tape to lift the bottom of the paper cassette tray. Guess what? It fixed my "no paper" error. Go figure??
