101: Video Gallery DZS WordPress - Create Playlist with Mixed Content

Welcome to wordpress video gallery . Today you will learn how to create a mixed youtube, vimeo and self hosted playlist.
First, go to the video gallery playlists menu, and create a playlist. Choose a name. Then scroll at the top to find your new playlist.
We will begin by adding a self hosted video. Choose one from your media gallery, or upload a new one.
Then, choose a thumbnail of your liking.
Now, we can create a new item.
Let's name it and select the type. The gallery can autodetect the type as well, based on the link.
We can go ahead and search for a youtube video. We click the one we want and copy the link.
We paste it into video playlist source field.
We can see that the thumbnail got automatically generated which is cool.
We go ahead and add yet another item.
We want this item from vimeo, so we can go search for a sample video.
Choose any item from the list and again copy the link there.
We like this big buck bunny so let's proceed with this as a demo.
Again, choose your video type and paste the link into the video field.
Choose a fitting title.
Then, we are ready to publish.
We will copy the shortcode from the bottom of the playlist admin menu.
Just create a page, or paste the shortcode into any page.
Select a title for your page, then you can just paste the shortcode into the content.
The gallery is ready. You can do now design changes to the menu and the player skin.
