Yes, Telegram shows your last seen or last active status to other users by default. When you open the app, people you chat with can see a timestamp like "last seen recently" or "last seen at 3:30 PM."
However, you can change this privacy setting. Open Telegram, go to "Settings," then select "Privacy and Security." Look for "Last Seen & Online." By default, this is set to "Everyone." You can change it to "My Contacts" so only people in your address book can see it, or select "Nobody" to hide it entirely.
