This is the story of the series of conflicts that pitted the human kingdom of Arnor against the legions of the Witch-king of Angmar, servant of Sauron!
This video recounts the beginnings of the Wars of Angmar (or Wars of Arnor) and continues through to the end of the first conflict and the arrival of the Hobbits in the Shire.
A word of caution to those who have only seen Peter Jackson's films: these events take place more than a thousand years before the events of The Lord of the Rings. I hope you won't be too lost.
