Discover how to use the LCD screen on your Dyson V15 Detect™ cordless vacuum to monitor cleaning performance, customise settings and track particle levels. This video includes subtitles, turn them on for the most helpful viewing experience.

What the LCD screen displays:
Particle count and cleaning performance
Selected cleaning mode
Remaining run time
Filter maintenance alerts
Blockage notifications

How the particle graph works: As you vacuum, a piezo sensor counts and sizes particles. These are displayed in four colour-coded bars:
Yellow (10μm) – allergens and pollen
Orange (60μm) – microscopic dust and skin flakes
Pink (180μm) – dust mites and fine sand
Purple (500μm) – sugar granules
The graph is available in all power modes and with all accessories. When fewer particles are detected, the graph slows, indicating a deep clean has been achieved.

Customisation options:
Change language and alert settings via the LCD menu
Turn off particle count by selecting ‘Off’ in the Particle Count menu
Reset the graph by stopping the machine for 10 minutes, placing it on charge, or removing and
refitting the battery
