Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV) flyaround video
Flyaround video released in early May 2023 by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) of its future Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV). The RSN will acquire six to replace its Victory-class Missile Corvettes, with the new ships to enter service from 2028 onwards.
The vessels will, among other things, act as a mother ship for unmanned systems, with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV) tapped to operate with it.
Saab Kockums and Odense Maritime Technology (OMT) to provide the basic design by the end of 2023, and the latter will also assist in developing artificial intelligence and data analytics systems. Singapore's ST Engineering will do detailed design work and construct the vessels.
