Problem on Source Transformation | Current Source to Voltage Source and vice versa. GATE, EE EC IN
This is a short video where I have discussed about source transformation in electrical Circuit. A network becomes easy to simplify if we are able to transform sources into the counterparts. For example, if we have a current source and a parallel resistor, we can convert that into a voltage source and a series resistor. Also we can convert a Voltage source and a series resistance into a current source and a parallel resistor.
Using these techniques we can obtain resistor combinations as per the need, which enables us to simplify the problem.
Such techniques would certainly be useful for examinations like GATE in Electrical engineering EE, Electronics engineering EC and Instrumentation engineering IN.
