AUTOMATION MONITORING SYSTEM IN VERTICAL FARMING
This project takes place on agricultural technology where a new method of farming is introduced which is vertical farming.
In this project, all surrounding environment factors that affect the growth quality of plants or crop are controlled such as light, humidity, temperature, and water level. This thus finds its origin in the desire of farmers to be able to better protect crops against external weather influences.
Using vertical farming and hydroponic farming method, farming in vertically stacked layer takes place thus saves space and allow farmers to produce more high quality crops from the same square footage of growing area.
Also implementation of IoT in this project where data that holds the conditions of the crops are updated lively on a cloud server thus allow farmers to monitor their crops from far distances.
