The CCC confirmed the BAN on mobilization of men aged 50-60?!?! Secret DIRECTIVE 116/2/1/21409 is in effect?!?
The head of the mobilization and defense work sector of the Sumy regional CCC Serhiy Monukalo said in an interview with Glavredu that the mobilization of the category of men liable for military service aged 50-60 is carried out according to a clear procedure, and there is no direct ban on conscription. Such persons are called up with the written consent of military units and mainly for support units and the State Special Transport Service (DSPT), and not for assault troops.
“That is, not to the military assault troops, but to support units or to the State Special Transport Service (DSPT),” adds Serhiy Monukalo.
Before being drafted, they undergo a medical commission and interviews at the CCC. After that, they are assigned to a unit, their military specialty is determined, and the lists are approved by the General Staff. This ensures a clear assignment to a specific unit and specialty, which guarantees transparency and accuracy of the mobilization process.
“After that, the lists are approved by the General Staff, and specific surnames are indicated in the mobilization order so that the person understands that he will not go to another unit or to another specialty,” added Serhiy Monukalo.
At the same time, the Deputy Head of the Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support - Head of the Mobilization and Defense Work Sector of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional CCC and SP, Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Stuzhuk, explained the peculiarities of the mobilization of men aged 50 and older. In response to a question from a Vidomo correspondent, he noted: “The mobilization of 50-year-olds who are fit for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not carried out. Only with their personal consent in coordination with the military unit to which they are sent. " According to him, we are talking about highly qualified specialists in certain military accounting specialties who are in demand and who, based on their moral and business qualities, can serve.
