Now that Google Docs supports Voice Typing we can use it as a quick and dirty way to transcribe spoken word audio. It may not be 100% accurate but you will get a majority of the audio transcribed. If you need to publish it on a website you will need to clean it up and add punctuation.

On the Mac download SoundFlower (google it)
After you install SoundFlower open your system preferences and select the SoundFlower 2CH source for both input and output.
Next open a new document in Google Docs and open the Tools Menu. Activate voice typing. Give it permission.
Click play on your audio file first.
Then click the microphone in Google Docs.
Watch the words spill into the blank document.

Remember, this is not ready for public consumption at this point but it can save you a lot of time if you need a quick transcription of some audio.
