How to Properly Place Hostas in the Garden
In this video, I will tell you how to correctly and beautifully place hostas in the garden, what plants go well with hostas, and where it is best to plant hostas. You will learn where you can plant yellow hostas, and where you should never plant blue hostas. I will show all this using my garden as an example.
To shade my hostas, I use plants such as barberry, spruce, juniper, jasmine, elderberry and others. In addition to shading, these plants also go well with hostas in terms of color.
The entire video was filmed on my property, these are not all the hostas that I have in my garden, I have more than 400 varieties and they are my favorite plants along with phlox.

Hostas are fairly unpretentious perennials, first of all, they need a lot of space and shade. Of course, do not forget about timely watering and feeding of hostas.
Hostas are not for nothing called "queens" of the shady garden. Hostas can be small or huge; the delightful coloring of leaves of various shapes in various species and varieties has virtually all shades of green, and in a small number of especially valuable hostas it is complemented by white, cream, golden, bluish-blue.
