Alice Matthew, conocida por su nombre artístico como Alice Phoebe Lou es una cantante y compositora sudafricana, quien actualmente reside en Alemania.

Nació y creció en Ciudad del Cabo, Sudáfrica, pero un viaje que hizo a Berlín a los dieciséis años la convenció de quedarse ahí, debido a la impresión que dejó en ella el intenso movimiento de música callejera. Aún menor de edad, la cantante comenzó a presentarse en la calle para financiar su viaje y, tras regresar a Sudáfrica sólo para terminar sus estudios, finalmente se estableció en la agitada ciudad alemana.
