Pet cheetah is the only song on Trench that just doesn't make any sense. It clearly has some importance attached to it: there were cheetah GIFs used on dmaorg to hide codes regarding Nico's name and twenty one pilots even released a VR concert performance for it.
So why was it never used? Why did it never gain a music video?
With the next era on the horizon and speculation being thrown left right and center, I believe that pet cheetah may possibly be the hint we've been waiting for about what to expect; it could be the most useful tool that us clique theorists and cliquetubers can use to try and predict whereabouts this story will go.
