Step 1: Click link and download Zip File - https://obsproject.com/forum/resource...
Step 2: Extract zip files to desktop.
Step 3: Navigate to OBS plugin files (normally C Drive + Program Files (x86) + obs-studio + obs-plugins).
Step 4: After clicking "obs-plugins," copy/paste the .dll files you just downloaded in their respective folders (i.e. 32bit .dll file goes into 32bit folder, etc.)
Step 5: Open OBS Studio, add new source + select "infowriter."
Step 6: Double click "infowriter" under sources, change Logfile to wherever you prefer the txt document to be saved.
Step 7: Go to OBS settings + hotkeys + scroll to bottom and change hotkeys to your preference.
Once you begin recording/streaming, the txt file will update as you change scenes and press your hotkey. This allows you to quickly time stamp specific moments during your live broadcast and local recordings.
