Houqain village about 150km from Muscat which takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and is easily accessible by a sedan car although if you wish to enjoy wadi crossing then its better to have a 4x4. Located in the Rustaq area this wadi is blessed with water all year round.

1st - Take a picture with the Kings.
On the way to wadi Houqain when passing thru the village you will come across this beautiful painting.
2nd - Hawqayn al kanadk
This little place is nestled in the village where you get to enjoy this gorgeous view secluded from the crowd. Although its said to not dive into the pool as the center is very deep. If you plan to visit this place make sure to respect the privacy of the villagers around.
3rd - Houqain waterfall
A well know picturesque picnic spot through out the year. Bring your family and friends here while you enjoy the cold water stream with a beautiful sunset.
4th - Houqain Wadi
For all the adventure lovers out there this is one beautiful Wadi that can be visited even during summers in the scorching heat as this wadi has mountains on both side which provides shade throughout the stretch.
