While I was playing this guitar, one of my coworkers came over and asked me why I love James Tylers so much. After fifteen minutes of motormouthed explanation, I think I listed all the reasons, and I illustrated them by playing this guitar. This Studio Elite HD is a sterling example of James Tyler's impeccable quality. The bridge pickup packs a serious wallop in the midrange--it's like a haymaker from King Kong! It also has plenty of bass boom and high-end sizzle. The two single-coils are throaty and warm, and they have plenty of edge in the highs to go with robust lows. In all positions, this guitar showcases outstanding balance and piano-like note separation. Also, you can dial in extra midrange power with the midboost. Anyone looking for a Tyler with an authoritative voice will dig this serial!
