Vance Joy - Riptide (cover by PUZZLS)
Hello everyone! I haven't posted a cover in a while, but hey, a lot of originals came out lately so I hope you are not too mad at me, haha. The truth is I haven't been feeling motivated to do much YouTube lately. Last year I decided to take this seriously and I uploaded weekly, even daily in December, but unfortunately that made my channel flop and my videos got recommended to no one anymore.... this gave me the impression that it's not worth it anymore, at least for the time being and in the way I was doing it before. I was always waiting for the latest releases and tried to be the first to upload. At first it was fun, but after a while it got repetitive and I had gotten discouraged especially, as I said, after December. In January I had so many new ideas and put a lot of effort in my first videos but YouTube seemed to not care about me anymore and all that work really got me nowhere. So I've decided to focus on my originals and not post the weekly covers anymore. I feel less stressed and I don't feel the pressure of "oh, I have to do it now, even if I don't like the song". From now on I will post rarely, but only things that I truly enjoy. Just like this quick cover I made a couple of weeks ago of Vance Joy's Riptide. I was recording guitars for an original song and I just had the urge of singing this one quickly. Got it after three takes and here it is now... Hope you'll enjoy :)
