INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
DISCLAIMER: I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BRICK
YOUR PHONE OR GET HACKED. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
This all works for the Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade**.
For other phones you may need to use a different app than
ANDROOT.APK to jailbreak your phone. Do some research!
Download from the internet ANDROOT.APK and GPARTED.
Download from Google store SUPERUSER, LINK2SD, FILER.
Use GPARTED (or other partition software) to format the SD card
with 50% Fat32 (for photos,video,mp3) and 50% EXT2 (for apps)*
Copy ANDROOT.APK to the Fat32 partition and put SD in phone.
Use FILER to access and run the ANDROOT.APK file.
Run SUPERUSER. Run LINK2SD.
When prompted give LINK2SD super user access/privilege.
Now you can move all apps to the SD card with the LINK option.
This saves 99% memory, better than Android MOVE TO SD.
Don't move or delete system apps and not Google Store/Play!
*If you plan to upgrade Android 2.1 to 2.2/2.3 using ROM
MANAGER / CLOCKWORKMOD also have a small 50mb
linux-swap partition.
** On a Sony Xperia X8 I had to use SuperOneClick root.
