Unraid 6.9 - Install & Setup a New Server or Upgrade an Existing One (2021)
This is the second part of a series of videos all about Unraid 6.9. This series will take you through everything that you need to know to get a server up and running quickly and easily.
This second part shows how to download and create a usb stick for Unraid. After which showing what bios settings to change in your motherboard for best results. After first boot it guides how to install community applications, unassigned devices and the pre clear plugin. After preclearing the drives an array and one pool is created. The video then goes on to show creating a root password and diabling the flash drive from being visable on the network.
For those wanting to upgrade at 21 min 30 seconds the video switchs gears and show what to do both before and after the upgrade process being an Unraid 6.8.3 install up to date on 6.9.1
