It's still getting better as I'm breaking it in, but it's definitely a solid cube. I'm not too big a fan of the pillowed cubes, but it still turns nicely. My mini shengshou is still about 10 seconds faster, but there I could see them becoming comparable.
If you prefer pillowed cubes I would most definitely get one of these.
