For Boyfriend, This one is mostly simple. Locked around the areas of the 7th-12th fret. You don't need to shift your hands a lot. Hence, why it is only labeled as medium. The speed is what's difficult here. The timing can be also difficult especially on the chorus bits.
For Tricky. It requires some experimenting. You use both right and left hand to scrape and scratch the strings like a DJ on turntables. Hold a guitar pick on your right hand to do string scrapes. Use the palm of your left hand to scratch. Play percussively too.
