If we are setting up a windows system or setting up a windows virtual machine, then we will need a bootable windows installation media. We can create windows installation media by using the official windows media creation tool. This ensures the genuinity of the installer. We can create a bootable windows ISO image or a bootable windows USB drive.

Windows 11: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/softw...
Make sure that you have the following points covered before creating a windows installation media:
1. An internet connection is required.
2. Sufficient data storage available on the computer, USB or external drive you are downloading the ISO file to.
3. A blank USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space or a blank DVD (and DVD burner) if you want to create media. It is recommended to use a blank USB or blank DVD because any content on it will be deleted.
4. When burning a DVD from an ISO file, if you are told the disc image file is too large you will need to use Dual Layer (DL) DVD Media.
The process is very simple, straightforward, and similar to both windows 10 and windows 11.
Thank you.
