It was raining in a city shrouded in autumn. The wind danced gently, whirling and tearing the last autumn leaves from the half-naked branches of trees, forming a thick carpet under the feet of passers-by, combing puddles creating small ripples on them and soaring with pleasure to meet the headlights of passing cars. Raindrops left traces on the windows of city storefronts, as if trying to draw their own world. The city was sleeping, covered with a blanket of autumn, and the rain continued to perform its quiet, melancholic dance, which I joined to warm my cold part of the inner world.
