Want a Smart Dashboard Display? Try Home Assistant on Google Hubs Now
I have a few use cases in my house were I want to cast Home Assistant Dashboards to the Google Hubs around my House. In this video, I demonstrate three ways that I am casting dashboard to Google Hubs.
✅ What's inside:
► Using my voice to ask Google to cast a Home Assistant Dashboard. I've setup Google to cast a HA dashboard based on a voice command in Google Home.
► Casting a Home Assistant dashboard based on motion. I've setup a motion sensor in my living room so that when it detects motion my Living Room Dashboard is displayed.
► Casting a Home Assistant dashboard based on an entity change (For when someone has left the garage roller door open... my garage dashboard is cast so that I can see that its been left open and I can use the controls in the dashboard to close it)
► I've also included what I think is a really cool automation to broadcast messages natively to Google devices. In this case I can broadcast "It's dinner time" at the push of a button.
