Welcome to a new video tutorial! In this episode, we are learning how to unleash the power of two amazing design softwares that do magic together.
More specifically, we are looking at how you can vectorize your Procreate lettering.
Last episode we uncovered why you should use both Procreate and Vectornator in your design workflow. Procreate offers freedom in creating hand-drawn, pixel-based sketches which can be turned very easily into vectors in Vectornator.
The reason why you’d want to turn your Procreate sketches into vectors is to transform pixels into crisp lines which look perfect no matter the resolution. So this practice is perfect for when you're creating a custom typeface, but also for logos (which we'll see in our next episode), also any project that is meant for print, or icons, and so on. Your imagination is the limit!
Will Paterson (@willpat) is a skilled logo designer, author, hand letterer, and famous YouTuber. So we couldn't have collaborated with a better person for this job.
