In this watercolor tutorial I demonstrate how to paint a fall (i.e. autumn) tree in a loose and impressionist style. I don't focus on fine details and high realism, rather I strive for watercolor impressionism. #watercolor #impressionism #falltree

The colors used in this painting are as follows:
Hansa Yellow Light PY3
Cadmium Yellow PY35 + PO20
Pyrrol Scarlet PR255
Quinacridone Rose PV19
Red Brown PBr25
French Ultramarine PB29
Burnt Umber PBr7

I am painting on Arches 140lb cold press watercolor paper. I have the paper and board tilted at about a 20 degree angle.

I use two brushes in this painting:
Princeton Neptune Quill #6
Silver Black Velvet Round 12
