Independent Components Analysis (ICA) and the Cocktail Party Problem: Real-World Example using R
In this video, we'll learn about Independent Components Analysis (ICA) and the cocktail party problem. Then, we'll do 2 examples using ICA to solve the cocktail party problem in R: The first will be using artificially mixed sounds to verify that the method works, then we will use a real-world example where we try to separate out music and an audiobook that have been recorded using 2 different microphones in the same room.
