Taking you all the way back to 1996 on this one! Were you alive in 1996? What were you doing? What do you remember about that year? Chances are you heard this track on the radio or perhaps you saw the video on MTV. I can vividly remember hearing it on the radio that summer.
The original track was done by Primitive Radio Gods, who was essentially just 1 man- Chris O'Connor. Chris keeps a pretty low profile, but you can find some fairly entertaining interviews he has given over the years about his disdain for the music business.
I recorded this last month (August 2022) in Austin, TX and it was produced by Lang Freeman. Great job Lang! We were both pretty big fans of the original, so it was fun to collaborate on this one.
