Making Thunderbolt Audio Work - Titan Ridge or Maple Ridge Do You need Bios Support
Answering Subscribers Questions! Making Thunderbolt Audio Work! We're Answering 3 Questions. The 1st Question will have 3 Options based on the What, Why and How of the Question and the Status of the Motherboard Bios. The Commenter has a Gigabyte Aorus Z370 Gaming 7 Motherboard with Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 that is not working with Bios support. Simple right. I wish. Option one is Stepping through the Bios Updates to enable Bios support. Since the most recent Bios is Encapsulated, there is no way to go back and Step through those Updates to enable Bios support. Therefor, the 2nd Option is another Motherboard with Z370 Chipset. A 5 year old Motherboard. Not likely. Giving way to the 3rd Option, a new Motherboard. And since the technology has changed, going from Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 to Maple Ridge Thunderbolt 4 and a Motherboard to support that capability. And that's what We're Outlining in this Video. Also, do You have to have to have Bios support for Thunderbolt? Depends. And, what about an Apple Display Device, will that work with a PC Computer? And how can I know for certain.
