Since I was a kid, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. As early as 12 years old, I was learning how to code and building websites.
But my journey to entrepreneurship wasn't a straight shot. It wasn't until I was 28 that I finally decided to take the leap and start my own business in a really BIG way.
I was working at one of the largest hedge funds in the world as an engineer at the time, but I didn't have the means to quit out right to start my own company.
Instead, I put together a very specific plan and learned how to build a startup on the side of my full time job in a manageable way.
In this episode, I walk you through the three steps I took to prepare to quit my job, start my company, and stop putting it off for another day or when the circumstances were just right.
Because real talk - there will never be a perfect time to start a business. The time is now.
