HOW TO WORK ON THE MOVEMENT FOR THE TWO-HANDED BACKHAND WITH TOPSPIN FROM AN INFLATABLE BALL?
We are in the series on basic backhand criteria, and we show some examples of approaches from an inflatable ball to develop the technical criterion of running to the point on the court where the ball will be hit.
When we see professional tennis players reaching increasingly faster balls, we don't imagine all the work that went into getting the athlete there.
It all starts with good stimuli in childhood, with lots of running games, on grass, sand, asphalt...
In this video we already put the children in various situations to run, jump, change direction... inside the tennis court, but...
...encouraging children from a young age with games like "playing tag"; Hopscotch, chain tag, hide-and-seek, among many others, will be the starting point for the repertoire of movements and balances that later transform into the running game of a high-performance tennis player.
Watch this video for some ideas on movements using the court lines, ladders, bars, and cones, all the way to the green ball!
