In a time when my home-town is getting barricaded with walls, Mahalaya comes. I sing this song as a protest to creating more barriers between us, between the home and the world, between our inner and outer selves. I wish we all realize soon that walls and boundaries are there only to push us apart from each other, and this is a time to be closer to each other, to create a stronger bond. আয় আরো বেঁধে বেঁধে থাকি.
This is a home-recording during the Lockdown days, where I experimented with a new microphone.
