Install LEMP Stack and WordPress into GCP Free Tier f1-micro Ubuntu VM
This video shows the installation process for LEMP on Google Cloud Platform f1-micro Ubuntu 18.04 VM.
A LEMP stack for a web server is made up of four pieces of software:
L – the Linux operating system
E – nginx Web Server
M – MySQL(or MariaDB) as the relational database management system
P – either Perl, Python, or PHP as the scripting language
F1-Micro type VM is the smallest VM you can get from GCP, but it is still power enough to host a small size WordPress blog. The most important part, it is free forever. I am using it to host my personal WordPress blog http://51sec.org, and it seems fine although some times, I did get a notification about performance issue, which cpu spiked up to more than 100%. I choose Ubuntu 18.04 as the OS for this VM. All commands have been listed on my related blog post:

You can just follow the video and copy & paste all commands in to get LEMP installed in 15 minutes.
WordPress also installed on this new LEMP Ubuntu server with some steps. There are some other posts relating to this topic you can find from http://51sec.org as well.
