Friday Night Funkin' (FNF) is a rhythm video game released on October 5, 2020, developed by a group of people called The Funkin Crew, consisting of Canadian programmer Cameron Taylor, also known as Ninjamuffin99; artist David Brown, also known as PhantomArcade; and musician Isaac Jacob Garcia, also known as Kawai Sprite. It was released on Newgrounds and Itch.io. The game features gameplay similar to Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, StepMania, osu!, and PaRappa the Rapper, and an aesthetic similar to Flash games popular in the early and mid-2000s.[1][2]
