This is a video for people who have NOT saved their textures in the Maya project folder structure. If you have been saving your textures in the "sourceimages" folder that's within your Maya project then you can disregard this.
However, if you have a lot of textures and they are NOT in the maya project then zipping up the project and uploading it will probably mean the textures will be missing/won't show up.
Archiving your scene should collect all textures used in the Maya scene and zip everything up. There's a strong chance though that the texture paths will be incorrect. This video also shows you how to fix that.
In summary:
A) Saved all my textures outside of Maya project.
B) "Archive" the scene. This will collect all assets(textures in this case) and make a .zip file containing the scene and textures.
C) Take this .zip file and unpack it on another machine with Maya.
D) Load up scene in Maya.
E) Textures not showing up? Go through the process shown in video. SET PATH TO FOLDER THAT ARCHIVE SCENE CREATED AND YOU UNPACKED.
F) Save scene and manually ZIP up the folders you just UNZIPPED.
G) Upload the archived ZIP you made in the previous step.
