Halo2 circuit changes for Zcash Shielded Asset and Atomic Swaps, Constance Beguier and Pablo Kogan
We will showcase QEDIT's recent advancements in Zcash Shielded Assets (A ZCF Grant). A short overview of the ZSA protocol will be given, followed by an in-depth examination of its integration within Orchard, focusing on implementing the circuit components - namely, a bypass, an enhanced value commitment, and a modified note commitment.
Lastly, we will discuss potential future developments on top of the ZSA protocol: atomic swaps, a crucial feature for maximizing the benefits of ZSA. The primary objective of ZSA and atomic swaps is to promote the development of more dApps and functionalities on the Zcash chain, ultimately driving adoption.
Constance is a cryptography research engineer specialised in ZKP, SMC, FHE and DP. She loves applying the latest advances in cryptography to real world use cases.
Pablo, the Director of Engineering, is an expert in the design and implementation of enterprise-class security-related software.
