Need to generate snow for a winter scene?
What could be better than a fully procedural tool built in Houdini that you can apply in real time using the Houdini Engine on Unreal Engine 5.7?
With it, you can save time and customize a snow prototype to your liking on any object:
Decide the amount and volume
Configure its density based on the Ambient Occlusion map of the mesh you need to cover
Customize minimum dispersion
Choose the thickness of the snow cover
Or modify the direction from which the snow is assumed to have fallen
This allows you to even simulate the effect of intense snowstorms
If you're interested in procedural generation and workflow optimization, feel free to connect, repost, leave a comment, or send me a message with your proposal!
