After surviving the absolute exhaustion of 007 Racing, I was desperate for something fun. I wasn't expecting 2Xtreme to be the game that completely turned things around.
Welcome to the PlayStation Marathon, the series where I'm playing and reviewing every PS1 game in alphabetical order. In today's episode, we're looking at 2Xtreme, an interesting extreme sports game by Sony Computer Entertainment.
2Xtreme throws together skateboarding, inline skating, mountain biking, and snowboarding with fast arcade gameplay, chaotic races, and an incredible late-90s rock soundtrack. Despite its rough visuals, it ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the marathon so far.
