I'm using vital to make the dry kick sound and
i will refine the kick with my own processing chain. Only "Special tool" i'm using here is probably "Flat Blaster 2" plugin.
You can easily replicate my processing chain where the kick kind of "comes alive" by using 2 eq plugins and some distortion, from there it is all about detail and layering sounds. :)
