While the peer-to-peer network of a blockchain is decentralized, most blockchain UIs in the ecosystem work by connecting to a centralized, trusted blockchain node that could easily be attacked. In this talk, Pierre introduces substrate-connect, a browser extension that contains a fully functional light client capable of connecting in a trustless way directly to the peer-to-peer network of Substrate-based parachains and standalone chains.
